CAD/CAM: Principles and Applications is primarily designed to serve as a textbook for undergraduate students of mechanical and allied engineering disciplines.

CAD/CAM standards and basic design evaluation tools are presented in the next two chapters. Various manufacturing practices and group technology is explained thereafter. The book, in its last few chapters, discusses CAM, CIM, Computer-aided Quality Control, and Requirements Planning in detail.
