he Developing Fiction Skills and Developing Non-Fiction Skills pupil books explore a wide range of texts using parallel themes. Each book contains twelve units offering four units per term. The parallel themes common to both the Fiction and Non-Fiction strands allow for comparison, an exploration of the same theme in different text types and effectively integrates the teaching of non-fiction.
