During the tryst with her professional career the author Dr. (Smt.) L.R. Kanchan was greatly concerned by the fall in standard of values and discipline amongst the younger generation.  This impelled her to probe into the problem at the grass root level.  Her Philosophical and educational background helped her to feel the pulse and gravity of the problem.
